Life-sized learning at the touch and feel wildlife gallery in Puducherry

The wildlife gallery at the Art and Craft Village in Puducherry’s Murungapakkam gives visitors a unique experience.

Here, people get to feel and touch life-sized models of animals and birds.

Many visitors are left spellbound by the intricate patterns of the keeled scales of Russell’s viper or the sheer enormity of a tiger.

Dr Bubesh Guptha, Founder of Universal Eco Foundation set up the gallery with the help of the Puducherry government.

Dr Guptha says the aim of the gallery is to spread awareness of wildlife conservation, especially among the younger generation.
