Bandh obsereved in Puducherry

The 12-hour bandh called by the Opposition AIADMK and the INDIA bloc to condemn the failure of the Puducherry government in preventing the murder of a minor girl impacted normal life in Puducherry on Friday, 8 March. AIADMK state secretary A Anbalgan demanded that the arrested culprits (a 50-year-old man and a teenager) should be awarded maximum punishment.
