Left parties launch massive protest against Kerala Governor

The ruling LDF in Kerala launched a massive protest against Governor Arif Mohammed Khan.

On Monday,14 November, several thousand workers marched to the Raj Bhavan, raising slogans against the Governor for blocking education-related policy matters.

CPI and DMK also joined the protest.

CPI(M) General Secretary Sitaram Yechury said Governors increasingly were interfering in state matters and reduced the role of the Raj Bhavan to advancing the political objective of the BJP.

Protests against the Governor have also been planned at all district headquarters in the state.
