Kochi school principal responds to hijab controversy

A Latin church-run school in Kochi reopened on Wednesday, 15 October, under police protection after approaching the High Court over a hijab dispute.

Education Minister V Sivankutty supported the student’s right to wear a hijab, while the school management expressed disagreement with his stance.
