“It’s Tipu vs Savarkar in the coming elections”: Karnataka BJP chief Nalin Kateel

Karnataka BJP chief Nalin Kumar Kateel kicked up another controversy by saying the coming elections will be fought over the ideologies of Tipu and Savarkar.

Kateel, who had recently called on cadres to focus on love jihad instead of civic issues, attacked the Congress for promoting Tipu Jayanthi.

He challenged the Leader of Opposition in the state assembly Siddaramaiah for a debate on the issue.
