Huge embarrassment for BJP as party workers protest against MLA, BS Yediyurappa cancels rally

There was high drama in Chikmagalur’s Mudigere after party workers went on a protest against sitting MLA MP Kumaraswamy.

The protest came minutes before senior leader BS Yediyurappa was to address the Vijaya Sankalpa Yatra.

An irked Yediyurappa called off the rally.

Protestors demanded no ticket should be given to Kumaraswamy in the upcoming elections.

BJP General Secretary CT Ravi who was at the spot chided protesting workers and asked them not to embarrass the party.
