HMWS&SB unbarricaded trench kills an old man in Hyderabad

Mohammad accidentally fell into a trench dug up by the HMWS&SB for a sewer line installation in Tolichowki.

On 31 March, 78-year-old Ghulam Mohammad, a resident of Gulshan Colony, met with a fatal accident in Shaikhpet.

While returning from his evening prayers at a local mosque, Mohammad accidentally fell into a trench dug up by the Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWS&SB) for a sewer line installation in Tolichowki.

Following immediate rescue efforts by locals and workers, Mohammad was rushed to a nearby hospital as he had sustained severe injuries. Unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries on Tuesday, 2 April.
