Congress leaders sport flowers behind the ear to take a dig at Bommai government’s budget

Congress leaders sported flowers behind their ears during the Karnataka budget 2023 speech by Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai on Friday, 17 February.

Congress party said the budget was an eyewash and launched #KiviMeleHoova, a campaign on social media to take a dig at the BJP government which they claimed had failed to deliver on their 2022 budget promises.

“You fooled the people of the state during your tenure, now it is the people’s turn to put those flowers on your ear,” was Bommai’s retort.
