Raja Singh fumes as wheel of bulletproof vehicle comes off

The wheel came off when the BJP leader was about to reach his house in Dhoolpet after attending the ongoing budget session of the Telangana Assembly.

Raja Singh escaped unhurt as the driver was moving the vehicle at a lower speed.

He said in spite of bringing the matter to the notice of officials concerned, the ISW failed to provide a new bulletproof vehicle. The same vehicle got stranded several times when Singh was visiting districts to meet the party cadre.

BJP leaders intervene

There were several instances when the vehicle was stranded on highways, leaving him surprised.

On coming to know about it, the party leaders arranged for another vehicle and ensured a safe journey till he reached the venue to meet the cadre and return home in a hassle-free manner.

The BJP leaders demanded that the Telangana government provide a new bulletproof vehicle to Raja Singh as he was being seen as a threat by various people because of his speeches.

The state government would be held responsible if anything happened to him because of its careless attitude, they said.

Raja Singh received several threatening messages earlier from different people, especially a few groups from abroad, which warned him to refrain from making the kind of speeches he does.

However, he continued his speeches.

This was the main reason the leaders from other states invited him to deliver a speech at the meetings organised in their respective states.

A few weeks ago, Singh delivered a speech at a meeting in Maharashtra, which thousands of people attended.
