Hyderabad private part murder

When 21-year-old P Hari Hara Krishna walked into the Abdullapurmet police station in Hyderabad on the evening of Friday, 24 February, no one there was expecting the shock his actions would bring to them.

Slowly, he started to confess his crimes in front of the police. He spoke about how he hatched a plan to kill his friend 22-year-old N Naveen because of a girl.

It turned out to be a horrific act of revenge. Krishna not only disembowelled his friend but also mutilated his body, including the private parts. And he surrendered to the cops only out of anxiety and fear.

The chilling murder

The Abdullapurmet Police Station’s Station House Officer (SHO) Swamy Vasam told South First that Krishna resorted to the gruesome act Naveen was allegedly harassing his girlfriend, who was previously in a relationship with Naveen.

Police investigation revealed that Krishna and Naveen were classmates in their junior college days in Dilsukhnagar.

At that time, Naveen was in love with a girl but they broke up after some time due to differences.

Naveen then went to stay at a hostel in Narketpally in the Nalgonda district, where he was pursuing BTech at the Mahatma Gandhi Engineering College, while Krishna — a native of the Warangal district — went on to stay at Moosrambagh in Hyderabad.

The girl subsequently grew close to Krishna and they were in a relationship for some time. Naveen allegedly started calling and texting the girl, and she told Krishna about this.

An angry Krishna allegedly hatched a plan to kill Naveen. He invited him for a get-together on 17 February at his house in Dilsukhnagar.

“Krishna offered to drop Naveen at his college hostel at Narketpally in the Nalgonda district. En route, the accused consumed liquor and Krishna strangled Naveen to death with a rope in the early hours of 18 February after picking up an argument with him near Peda Amberpet,” the SHO told South First.

He added that Krishna did not stop there. After killing Naveen, Krishna mutilated his body and disembowelled it.

“The accused also chopped off the victim’s private parts and threw them aside,” said the police.

The surrender

Naveen’s family lodged a missing-person complaint with the Narketpally Police Station on 22 February.

During the investigation, the police found that Naveen was in touch with Krishna.

“Krishna also got to know that the police were investigating the case now. On the intervening nights of 17 and 18 February, before the murder, Naveen called a common friend named Shankaraiah and told him about the fight,” said the SHO.

The police said Krishna informed his parents that he was going to drop Naveen at Narketpally.

After the murder, Krishna went to stay with a friend and was panicking. He was in fear that Shankaraiah would tell the police that he was with Naveen, said the police

The cops said that he surrendered due to anxiousness after the murder.

“As the police had started to suspect Krishna, he became elusive till Friday evening. However, he was anxious and panicking that he might get caught. He then met the girl, who also asked him to surrender to the police,” said the SHO.

Finally, on Friday evening, he surrendered to the police.

The police booked Krishna for murder (Section 302 of the IPC) and destruction of evidence (Section 201 of the IPC). He was also booked under the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act.

The police are also investigating if the girl was also involved in the crime.

“We have recovered the body and the post-mortem examination of the victim has also been conducted. The accused has been sent to 14 days of judicial custody for now,” said the cops.
