TRS MLC K Kavita on Wednesday, 23 November, accused the BJP of trying to create a fear psychosis among the leaders of the other parties with the intention of winning them over to its side.
“The BJP government at the Centre is using its probe agencies against the leaders of rival parties. But they do not need to fear any agency because they have done nothing wrong. If they are doing any business, there is nothing hanky-panky about them,” she said.
Addressing a meeting of party workers at Tandur in Nagireddypet, Kamareddy district, the former Nizamabad MP wondered why BJP general secretary BL Santhosh was not appearing before the SIT if he has nothing to hide.
The Telangana police did the right thing by arresting those who had come to Hyderabad to poach MLAs, she said.
Kavitha ridiculed BJP state president Bandi Sanjay for taking a vow at Yadadri temple. If the BJP was not involved in the poaching attempt, why did they file a petition in the high court seeking a CBI probe,” she asked.
While urging the party workers to prepare for elections, the TRS leader said that the BJP have no candidates to fight the next Assembly polls.
“The question of fearing the Enforcement or Income-Tax departments does not arise,” she said.
Kavitha warned BJP workers against resorting to rowdyism. “They have no leaders. They have no ideology. That is why they want to poach MLAs and field them as their candidates,” she told her party workers.
