The present process notified on the basis of the relevant government orders, with an objective to make it simpler, swifter, equitable, and formidable against intervention and manipulation, ushered in several improvements.

Candidates, who attended the PMT and PET, were biometrically verified with their records that had been created during the preliminary written test and they were administered the test only on such authentication.

Male and female candidates have been segregated and were allotted different days and as a result, a substantial time economy could be achieved due to day-wise specialisation.
