Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin underwent an angiogram on Thursday, 24 July.
In a statement released to the media, Apollo Hospitals in Chennai said the chief minister underwent various investigations after he complained of giddiness. “The investigations revealed that the symptoms were due to variations in heart rate,” the hospital said.
Based on the opinion of a medical expert committee, Stalin underwent a therapeutic procedure to correct the variations.
The chief minister is “healthy and is expected to resume his normal routine in two days”, the medical bulletin added.
Stalin was admitted to Apollo Hospitals in Chennai on Monday, 21 July, for evaluation and tests after experiencing mild giddiness during his routine morning walking.
He visited the hospital after attending a programme at Anna Arivalayam, the DMK headquarters in Chennai, where former AIADMK Organising Secretary A Anwhar Raajhaa joined the DMK.
