Tamil Nadu Chief Minister’s Office allocates portfolios among senior IAS officers

Synopsis: Dr P. Senthilkumar, IAS, Additional Chief Secretary and Secretary-I to the Chief Minister, has been assigned key departments including Finance, Home, Municipal Administration, Energy, Industries, Highways, Health, Public Works, and Vigilance.

The Tamil Nadu Chief Minister’s Office has issued an order allocating subjects among senior IAS officers appointed as Secretaries and Additional Secretaries to the Chief Minister.

Dr P Senthilkumar, IAS, Additional Chief Secretary and Secretary-I to the Chief Minister, has been assigned key departments including Finance, Home, Municipal Administration, Energy, Industries, Highways, Health, Public Works, and Vigilance.

G Laxmi Priya, IAS, Secretary-II to the Chief Minister, will oversee departments including Higher Education, School Education, Revenue and Disaster Management, Rural Development, Housing, Social Welfare, BC/MBC and Minorities Welfare, Adi Dravidar and Tribal Welfare, and Welfare of Differently Abled Persons.

Dr A Annadurai, IAS, Secretary-III to the Chief Minister, has been allotted departments such as Agriculture, Water Resources, Animal Husbandry, Food and Consumer Protection, Transport, Law, Human Resources Management, and Tamil Development and Information.

V Vishnu, IAS, Additional Secretary to the Chief Minister, will handle Commercial Taxes, Tourism, MSME, IT and Digital Services, Youth Welfare and Sports Development, Labour Welfare and Skill Development, Planning and Development, and Special Initiatives departments.
