Armstrong was hacked to death in Chennai on 5 July, by a gang and at least 11 suspects have been arrested in connection with the case.

TN CM Stalin on Tuesday visited Porkodi, wife of slain BSP state chief K Armstrong and assured her that the perpetrators would be brought to justice. He conveyed his condolences to the family, promising all involved would be punished by law. The state government had provided full security for Armstrong’s burial at Pothur in Tiruvallur district early on Monday.
