MK Stalin meets BSP Tamil Nadu chief Armstrong's wife

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin on Tuesday, 9 July, called on Porkodi, wife of slain Bahujan Samaj Party state chief K Armstrong and assured her that the perpetrators of the crime would be brought to justice.

During his visit, Stalin conveyed his condolences and sympathies to Porkodi and other family members and assured them that all those involved in the ghastly murder would be punished according to the law.

Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Minister PK Sekar Babu was present.

The state government had provided full security for the burial of the BSP leader at Pothur in Tiruvallur district on early on Monday, 8 July.

Taking to X, Stalin wrote: “I assured Sister Porkodi that those who are involved in the evil act of murder will be brought before the law and get severe punishment. My government is determined to find and punish whoever is behind the crime of murder. It is a government for all. A government that embraces everyone and protects the welfare of the poor will surely uphold justice! The police will carry out their duty without bias!”
