T’gana’s tribal areas call for attention when love ends in murder

A man murdered the parents of his ex-partner after she refused to return to him.

A double murder at a tribal hamlet in the Warangal district has brought to the fore the need for cracking down on drugs and liquor in subaltern Telangana. A 22-year-old woman lost her parents to her once partner after she refused to move back with him. The man went to the woman’s house late in the intervening night of 10 and 11 July and hacked to death her sleeping parents. Her brother, however, escaped with injuries.
