Former Telangana Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan rejoined the BJP two days after quitting as Telangana Governor and Lieutenant Governor of Puducherry. Addressing the media in Chennai on Wednesday, 20 March, Tamilisai expressed her wish to return to electoral politics. Emphasising that the “lotus will bloom” in Tamil Nadu, she said she didn’t regret her decision to relinquish the gubernatorial post.
