States, UTs advised to prevent hospital fires

The Union Health Ministry and the National Disaster Management Authority have issued a joint advisory to prevent hospital fires during summer. To mitigate the risk of devastating incidents, the advisory underscored the collaboration between State Health Departments and State Disaster Management Authorities. It outlined several key measures such as thorough inspections, electrical load audits, and fire NOC compliance, among others.
