On Monday, 1 April, BJP’s Goshamahal MLA T Raja Singh criticized AIMIM president Asaduddin Owaisi for visiting the home of Mukhtar Ansari and expressing condolences over the death of the gangster-politician. Singh stated that Owaisi should also visit family members of those whom Ansari allegedly killed. Owaisi said he only visited the family of Mukhtar Ansari to express his condolences.
