Police seize ‘unaccounted’ ₹6.65 cr from multiplex of BRS leader’s kin

It is suspected that the cash was meant to fund former BRS MP B Vinod Kumar's poll campaign in Karimnagar.

The Telangana police seized “unaccounted” cash worth ₹6.65 crore from Patima Multiplex at Karimnagar in a pre-dawn swoop on Saturday, 16 March. The police said the search was carried out based on a tipoff. It is suspected that the cash was meant to fund former BRS MP B Vinod Kumar’s poll campaign in Karimnagar. The multiplex belongs to his relatives.
