The Supreme Court will on Monday hear a plea challenging the remission granted to former lawmaker Anand Mohan, who served more than 14 years in jail for the 1994 murder of G Krishnaiah, former Gopalganj district magistrate. Krishnaiah of erstwhile Andhra Pradesh was lynched by a Mohan-led mob when his vehicle tried to overtake gangster Chhotan Shukla’s funeral procession in Muzaffarpur.
