Police said they got crucial CCTV footage that captured the suspect Mujeeb's dressing before and after the crime.

Claiming that they have found incriminating CCTV footage of Mujeeb, accused of murdering Kozhikode woman Anu, the police said his wife tried to burn some clothes, apparently he had worn while committing the crime. Anu’s body was found in a Perambra stream on 12 March, the day after she had gone missing. A suspected robbery bid had led to her death.
