Two officers attached to the Pandikkad police station in Kerala’s Malappuram were suspended from service after a 36-year-old man collapsed at the station and died. The deceased, Moideenkutty, was summoned for questioning in connection with a clash. His relatives alleged that he was tortured in an area where CCTV cameras were absent. The police said he suffered a heart attack.
