The police stance

However, the relatives alleged that the police had beaten up Moideenkutty in an area of the police station where CCTV camera surveillance was absent. This, they said resulted in his death.

The police are of the stance that Moideenkutty suffered from heart-related ailments, and he suffered a heart attack at the police station.
