A 40-year-old man was arrested for attacking his live-in partner with acid in Karnataka’s Bagalkote. He launched the attack after she refused to open the door late at night. The victim, Lakshmi Badiger, 32, had been living with the accused Mounesh Pattar for the past three years. She was being treated at a Bagalkote hospital for grievous injuries.
