Five women will represent the Telugu states in new Lok Sabha

In all, 73 women won the Lok Sabha elections across India this time, which was slightly lower than 78 in 2019.

Five women will represent the Telugu states in new Lok Sabha

Five of the 15 women candidates from the Telugu states are going to Parliament this time. YSRCP’s Gumma Thanuja Rani from Araku (SC), TDP’s Dr Byreddy Shabari from Nandyal and BJP’s Daggubati Purandheshwari from Rajahmundry are from Andhra Pradesh. In Telangana, the winners are Kadiyam Kavya of Congress from Warangal (SC) and BJP’s DK Aruna from Mahabubnagar.
