In Andhra Pradesh’s Karempudi village in Palnadu district, one Mahesh has been accused of killing his 18-month-old girl child due to her gender and skin colour. The mother of the child accused Mahesh of deliberately feeding the child poisoned ‘prasadam’ to kill her. A case has been filed, while the post-mortem reports of the child are yet to come.
