Kerala’s major political coalitions —Left Democratic Front, United Democratic Front and National Democratic Alliance — have ramped up their poll campaigns with distinct strategies. The LDF believes it has gained an advantage by announcing its candidates early. The UDF, having won 19 of 20 seats in 2019, looks for a sweep. The NDA eyes a breakthrough by challenging the established fronts.
