Synopsis: Telangana ACB on Tuesday, 16 June, raided the Deputy Director, Lands and Survey (Multi Zone-2) over alleged disproportionate assets, huge cash and property documents seized in Hyderabad
Continuing a Crackdown against corrupt top government officials, the Telangana Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Tuesday, 16 June, conducted extensive searches across 11 locations in and around Hyderabad against S. Narahari, Deputy Director of Lands & Survey (Multi Zone-2), over allegations of disproportionate assets to his known sources of income.
Led by ACB DSP Gangasani Sridhar, raids were carried out at Narahari’s residence in Chatrinaka, his office in Narayanguda, and properties linked to his relatives and close associates.
Sources say officials seized around ₹32 lakh in cash, along with documents related to multiple properties and significant bank deposits.
Investigations into his assets, bank accounts, and investments are ongoing.
