Scuffle erupts between CM and DCM officers at Karnataka Bhavan in Delhi

Tensions flared at Karnataka Bhavan in Delhi as a scuffle broke out between the Special Duty Officers (SDOs) of Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar. According to a complaint filed by DCM’s SDO H. Anjaneya, CM’s officer C. Mohan Kumar allegedly threatened to “remove his boot and hit him” in the presence of other staff members.

Anjaneya has submitted a formal complaint to the Resident Commissioner and Karnataka’s Chief Secretary, prompting questions over decorum and internal discipline within the state’s top leadership teams.

Reacting to the episode, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah said he had been informed about the clash but had yet to receive full details. “Someone informed me about it. I’ll look into the matter,” he stated.

Delhi Police, meanwhile, told ANI that no PCR call or official complaint had been received so far. “We will act as soon as a complaint is filed,” said a police official.
