The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) will hold its annual Akhil Bharatiya Prant Pracharak Baithak (All India Regional Pracharaks’ Meeting) in Belagavi, Karnataka, from July 10 to 12, bringing together the organisation’s top full-time functionaries from across the country.

The scheduled meeting in Karnataka comes at a time Home Minister Priyank Kharge has written to RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat seeking clarity on the organisation’s legal and constitutional status. The home ministry has insisted on a response from RSS before any clearances or permissions are accorded to the organisation for any public event. It is to be seen if the upcoming bhaitak will turn into a flashpoint or will be carried out seamlessly as a private event.

According to RSS sources, the three-day meeting is expected to be attended by Prant Pracharaks, Sah Prant Pracharaks, Kshetra Pracharaks and Sah Kshetra Pracharaks representing all organisational regions of the Sangh. Sources indicated that issues relating to the Ayodhya Ram Mandir, including reports and allegations of financial irregularities that have surfaced in recent months, may also come up for discussion, although there has been no official confirmation from the RSS on the agenda.

As per the Sangh’s organisational structure, representatives from 11 Kshetras and 46 Prants will participate in the deliberations. The meeting will also be attended by Akhil Bharatiya Sangathan Mantris of 32 organisations inspired by the RSS, making it one of the organisation’s most significant annual strategy sessions.

The meeting follows the Akhil Bharatiya Pratinidhi Sabha held in Samalkha, Haryana, in March 2026. Since then, the RSS has conducted training camps across the country during April, May and June, and their reports and outcomes will be reviewed during the Belagavi deliberations.

A major focus of the meeting will be the implementation of annual organisational plans at the shakha level and a review of the expansion drive undertaken as part of the RSS centenary celebrations. Leaders are also expected to discuss strategies to further strengthen and expand the Sangh’s grassroots network.

The Pracharaks will review the programmes completed under the RSS centenary year, assess the remaining initiatives scheduled to continue until Vijayadashami on October 20, 2026, and finalise future organisational plans. The proposed travel schedule of RSS Sarsanghchalak Dr Mohan Bhagwat for 2026–27 is also expected to be discussed.

Besides organisational matters, participants are likely to exchange views on contemporary national issues, including the forthcoming population census and prevailing socio-political developments.

RSS Sarsanghchalak Dr Mohan Bhagwat, Sarkaryavah Dattatreya Hosabale, and Sah Sarkaryavahs Dr Krishna Gopal, CR Mukunda, Arun Kumar, Ramdutt, Alok Kumar and Atul Limaye are expected to guide the deliberations. Bhagwat is scheduled to arrive in Belagavi on July 6, ahead of the meeting.
