“Who is taking responsibility for this? Do we wait for a tragedy before action is taken?” a social media user asked the Karnataka chief minister and other officials concerned.
Meanwhile, an X user with the profile Whitefield Rising, an immediate inspection of the Balagere-Panathur Road
“Inspect Balagere – Panathur Road TODAY. Every Single Engineer and Road Contractor HAS TO BE IN ATTENDANCE,” the user wrote.

“It seems that unless a project involves massive sums, it hardly gets any attention — only those worth hundreds or thousands of crores seem to make it a priority,” wrote an X user.
“Sad that collapsing infrastructure & zero accountability has become ‘normal’. Deep-rooted corruption, taxpayer money looted in the open. Every rupee I earn is tracked by IT dept but who’s tracking every rupee I PAY in taxes, where’s it used?” questioned another user.
“Pothole filling work is going on at some places around balagere but should have seen the quality of the fix. It will not last few days without rain and just one rain showers the potholes will be back. When will this change!!” wrote an X user Santosh Kumar Dash.

“Infratructure is really bad in this area and the blame game goes on between stakeholders but nobody is questioning the driver here. If you watch the video how it happened its absolutely irresponsible driving by the bus driver here overtaking from wrong side. Had there been kids?” asked another X user.
