Good news for Bengalureans as Nandini ghee, butter, ice cream prices drop after GST rate cut

For a 1 litre tub of vanilla ice-cream, KMF will now charge ₹178 from ₹200. Similarly, 150 gm of muffins has come down to ₹45 from ₹50.

The new GST (Goods and Services Tax) rates have brought in some good news for Bengalureans.

The prices of Nandini’s ghee, butter, paneer, cheese, and ice cream among other products will come down from today, 22 September. The report was confirmed by a press release issued by the Karnataka Milk Federation (KMF).

KMF’s iconic Nandini products are a favourite across the state.

As per the new prices, 1 litre of ghee has come down from ₹650 to ₹610. Similarly, the price of 500 gm of unsalted butter has come down from ₹305 to ₹286.

1 kg of paneer is now priced at ₹408 as opposed to ₹425 earlier. On the other hand, 1 litre of Goodlife milk has been cut from ₹70 to ₹68.

For a 1 litre tub of vanilla ice-cream, KMF will now charge 178 from 200. Similarly, 150 gm of muffins has come down to 45 from 50.

Likewise, 1 kg diced Mozzarella cheese will nor be selling at ₹450 from ₹480 earlier.

Bengaluru’s middle-class families and dairy lovers can rejoice as KMF’s price cuts make essentials like ghee, paneer, and vanilla ice cream more affordable.

This revision, driven by tax benefits, eases the strain of rising grocery costs without compromising on quality. KMF reaffirms its dedication to keeping quality dairy accessible, bringing relief to households across the city.
