100+ people attended

There were more than 100 attendees from Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Bengaluru, including over 25 young women, SouthFirst had earlier reported. People who attended the party included DJs, models, actors, and techies.

After the raid in Electronic City, police collected the blood samples of the participants in a private hospital, which revealed that 59 men and 27 women tested positive for narcotics.

“Most of the people who attended the party were consuming drugs. The Central Crime Branch will issue notices to those who tested positive,” a police source had said earlier.

MDMA (Ecstacy) pills, MDMA crystals, hydro cannabis, cocaine, high-end cars, and DJ equipment, including sound and lighting worth ₹1.5 crore were seized by the police.

Confirming actor Hema tested positive for narcotics, police sources told South First anonymously, “Actor Hema was put under narcotics test along with 103 others. Of the total, 86 people including Hema tested positive for narcotics.”

“She will be summoned for the interrogation and her name will be added in the FIR. Those who have tested positive for narcotics will be booked and summoned,” added police sources.

He further added that a total of four people, including L Vasu, who organised the party, have been arrested and that the police are actively looking for the remaining accused. “At the time of the raid, the CCB recovered several narcotics substances. The accused will be investigated to ascertain the sources of the narcotic substances,” further said the police source.

‘No elected members’

“The CCB conducted a raid on a farmhouse, where a rave party was underway till late at night. There were confusions about the jurisdictions whether it falls under Bengaluru Rural or Bengaluru City limits. As it was on the border area, the Bengaluru Central Crime Branch has conducted a raid and is investigating the case,” said police sources.

“In this rave party, most of them were from Hyderabad and there are very few locals,” claimed police.

A day after the arrest, Bengaluru City Police Commissioner B Dayananda said: “Police dog squads have played a key role in identifying the hidden narcotic substance at the farmhouse and inside vehicles. There were no elected members present at the party, but an actor was there.”
