On September 8, 2023, the Chennai Climate Action Group (CCAG) inaugurated ‘Strokes of Solidarity – Voices for Chennai’s Future,’ an art exhibition against the Kattupalli Mega Port.

Carnatic musician, and activist TM Krishna, musicians Sangeetha Sivakumar and activist Shalin Maria Lawrence inaugurated the exhibition.

Additionally, Member of Parliament Thol Thirumavalavan offered support for the event.

While the exhibition aims to raise awareness about the environmental and livelihood impacts of Adani’s port expansion project, it also serves as a request to the Tamil Nadu government, led by Chief Minister MK Stalin, to scrap the project.

Over 100 riveting artworks by students and the public are on display at Art Kin Centre, TTK Road, Alwarpet, Chennai. The exhibition will conclude on September 9 at 8 pm.
