Following its theatrical release on 8 March, the Telugu film received mixed talk at the box office.

The film has themes of ostracisation, self-discovery, and human resilience. How an ascetic (played by Vishwak Sen) finally reaches his destiny is the story of Gaami.
Its visual storytelling, realistic VFX, and captivating music have received widespread acclaim on ZEE5.
Directed by Vidyadhar Kagita, Gaami has music by Sweekar Agasthi and Naresh Kumaran, and cinematography by Vishwanath Reddy Chelumalla and Rampy Nandigam.
