The latest Malayalam super hit movie Premalu seems to have caught the fancy of Bollywood filmmakers.
The latest buzz is that Yash Raj Films has acquired the UK and Europe distribution rights for the film.
Yash Raj Films is learnt to have been quite impressed by the rave reviews the movie won from critics and audiences, even at the international level.
Premalu has been tagged by the netizens as the perfect rom-com in Malayalam.

Premalu, featuring Naslen Gafoor and Mamitha Baiju in lead roles, is directed by Girish AD under the banner of Bhavana Studios.
The film is garnering unanimous critical and widespread acclaim across the state and is having a good run at the box office.
Premalu held up well at the box office after the first weekend and witnessed a good run during Valentine’s Week.
It is produced by Dileesh Pothan, Fahadh Faasil, and Syam Pushkaran under the banner of Bhavana Studios.
Set against the backdrop of Hyderabad, Premalu also features Shyam Mohan, Akhila Bhargavan, Sangeeth Prathap, Althaf Salim, and Meenakshi Raveendran in key roles.
The screenplay was written by Girish AD and Kiran Josey.
Ajmal Sabu was the cinematographer.
