When you take the name of Kollywood star Vishal, his action-packed films instantly ring a bell in your head. Vishal has carved a niche for himself in the Telugu market, too.
Despite the recent success of Mark Antony (2023), which raked in ₹100 crore at the box office, Vishal’s fans are eagerly anticipating his return with another power-packed action film. And it looks like he obliged the request.
The actor is ready with a new movie titled Rathnam.
Hari is the director. Kalyan Subrahmanyam and Alankar Pandan are producing it under Stone Bench Films and Zee Studios.
Rathnam casts Priya Bhavani Shankar as the leading lady. The other actors include Samuthirakani, Yogi Babu, and Gautham Vasudev Menon.
Devi Sri Prasad is the music director.
The first-shot teaser and title poster of Rathnam were launched recently. The teaser gave goosebumps to Vishal’s fans.
The title, “Aa Raktame Rathnam” derives its significance from the blood of a beheaded man, making it a compelling choice for the mass audience.
Vivek penned the songs for the film. M Sukumar is the cinematographer.
TS Jay is the editor, and Pee Vee Balaji is the art director.
Stunt coordination is handled by Kanal Kannan, Peter Hein, Dilip Subrayan, and Vicky.
