The newly-released Telugu-Hindi bilingual film, Operation Valentine, has garnered mixed reviews from audiences and critics. The movie was released in theatres on 1 March.
It is learnt that Amazon Prime Video acquired the digital rights for Operation Valentine for a significant amount.
Typically, Amazon Prime Video begins streaming movies on its platform four weeks after a film’s release. But it is not sure whether Operation Valentine will follow the same path.
As per the multiplex rules in Hindi, the Hindi version of the Varun Tej-starrer is likely to be streamed on OTT only after eight weeks.
It is to be seen in how much the movie would make on day 1.
Varun Tej consistently said in his interviews that he would charge remuneration according to the budget of his film project.
With another film titled Matka, directed by Karuna Kumar in the pipeline, the Mega fans hope that Varun will score a hit with a variety of subjects to explore as a solo hero.
