Politicians, film industry professionals, production houses and celebrities cutting across regions greeted actor-politician Kamal Haasan who turned 69 on Tuesday, 7 November, on his birthday.
AVM Productions, one of Tamil cinema’s most respected production houses, chose to put on display at their museum a bike that Kamal Haasan had used in an iconic song from the film Sakalakala Vallavan (1982).”
Announcing this decision, the production house tweeted, “As a treat to all the Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan fans, on the occasion of his birthday, AVM museum will be displaying the iconic Royal Enfield Bullet, 1980 model, Kamal Haasan Sir used in the song ‘Ilamai Idho Idho‘ from Sakalakala Vallavan. The museum is open tomorrow for Ulaganayagan’s birthday. Come visit us!”

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin, in a tweet in Tamil on Tuesday, wrote, “Birthday wishes to Maiam Head Kamal Haasan, a knowledgeable artiste who has set several records in the field of art.” He wished the top actor a long life surrounded by goodness.
