In this male-dominated world of entertainment, some things seem to be changing. Here are a few daughters of senior stars who have decided to face the bright lights of showbiz.

Starting down South, Aishwarya Arjun, the daughter of senior star and action hero Arjun Sarja, who is familiar to Telugu audiences, has forayed into the entertainment industry.

Aishwarya has already made her way through as she acted in Kannada and Tamil films. Now her younger sister Anjana Sarja would foray into acting. Anjana is currently managing the family business.

It is learnt that she will debut in the upcoming movie directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. The film is under script work, the shoot is expected to start once Lokesh Kanagaraj’s Leo is completed. So official information about the film is awaited.

Music maestro AR Rahman’s daughter Khatija is making her acting debut in an upcoming movie titled Minmini which is being directed by Halitha Shameem.

Khatija followed in her father’s footsteps to make remarkable strides as a singer and as a composer in the music industry.

Her sensational debut on Coke Studio has garnered massive recognition. She is playing the role of a music composer in the film which is in the post-production stage.

Bollywood diva late Sridevi’s daughter Khushi Kapoor

Khushi Kapoor, the second daughter of late Sridevi and famous producer Boney Kapoor, wants to follow in the footsteps of her sister Janhvi Kapoor. During a chat show, Khushi expressed her views about an acting debut.

She said she would want Karan Johar to launch her career; however, she said that the call would be taken by her father Boney Kapoor. She is playing the character Betty Cooper in Zoya Akhtar’s directorial series The Archies.

Khushi will share screen space with Suhana Khan, the daughter of Shah Rukh Khan in the film. Khushi attended the New York Film Academy to study acting for film.

Rasha Thadani, the darling daughter of yesteryear actress Raveena Tandon, will make her silver screen debut with Ajay Devgn’s nephew Aaman Devgan.

Abhishek Kapoor is directing this action-adventure drama which is likely to come before audiences on 9 February, 2024. Ronnie Screwvala and Pragya Kapoor are jointly producing this untitled film.

After studying at Dhirubhai Ambani International School in Mumbai, Rasha did her graduation recently, and the pictures of the ceremony went viral on social media.

Bollywood Badshah Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter Suhana Khan is all set to make her silver screen debut with The Archies. The film is being helmed by Zoya Akhtar.

The comedy web series is a period drama set in the ’60s. The series will stream on Netflix from November 24. Suhana pursued film studies in New York and later in the UK when she was just 15.

She made her onscreen debut with a 10-minute short film named The Grey Part of Blue. Directed by Theodore Gimeno, the story is about a teenager’s experience of unrequited love.

Pashmina from the Roshan family

Hrithik Roshan’s cousin and filmmaker Rajesh Roshan’s daughter Pashmina Roshan will make her acting debut in Ishq Vishk Rebound, which happens to be the sequel to Shahid Kapoor’s celebrated debut film.

Pashmina will share screen space with Rohit Saraf, Jibraan Khan and Naila Grewal. The film is directed by Nipun Avinash Dharmadhikari. The film is likely to go on floors soon.

Daughter from the Kapoor family

Shanaya Kapoor, the daughter of Sanjay Kapoor and Maheep Kapoor, will make her debut with Bedhadak, which is being bankrolled by Karan Johar under the Dharma Productions banner.

Shanaya had the experience of working as an assistant director for the film Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl (2020). She is also playing a key role in Mohanlal starrer Vrushabha, which is slated to release next year.

Touted to be an action entertainer, the film is being helmed by Nanda Kishore. The film will be released in Telugu, Kannada, Hindi and Tamil languages.

Salman Khan’s niece Alizeh Agnihotri

Alizeh Agnihotri is another star kid from Bollywood. The niece of Star Salman Khan and the daughter of Alvira Khan Agnihotri and actor Atul Agnihotri, Alizeh earned recognition in the industry as a model.

Well, she is making her debut with an upcoming movie helmed by national-award-winning director Soumendra Padhi.

The film is likely to go on floors next month. It is learnt that she also signed her second project which is being directed by Vikas Bahl. The film is an adaptation of the French film La Famille Belier (2014).
