Telugu version of ‘Manjummel Boys’ receives good response

The original version did well in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana states by collecting ₹4 crore.

After its successful theatrical run in Kerala and Tamil Nadu, Manjummel Boys is minting money at the Telugu box office since its release in the two Telugu states on 6 April.

The Telugu version of the flick received rave reviews from the audience and critics.

In an X post, Mythri Movie makers, which distributed Manjummel Boys in the Telugu states, wrote: “Manjummel Boys are being loved in the Telugu States  Extra shows being added in multiplexes all over. Day 2 is seeing double the numbers of Day 1 at the box office”.

Celebrated by critics and audiences alike

The makers claimed over 34.47k tickets for the Telugu version were sold on the BookMyShow app alone.

Given the demand, extra shows have been added to the multiplexes.

The Telugu movie buffs are celebrating the flick, especially the climax scene, on social media through putting up posts and memes.

The original version of Manjummel Boys did well in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana by collecting ₹4 crore. It was a phenomenal hit in Tamil Nadu. It earned ₹61 crore in Tamil Nadu and ₹14.5 crore in Karnataka.

Further, Manjummel Boys became the first Malayalam movie to collect over ₹50 crore at the Tamil box office.

The flick performed well in its first 45 days at the box office and earned an estimated net of ₹126.30 crore in India. It grossed ₹220 crore worldwide and is heading towards ₹ 250 crore.

It is directed by Chidambaram and produced by Parava Films and Sree Gokulam Films.
