The action-packed trailer for Nani’s upcoming film Saripodhaa Sanivaaram has raised expectations among cineastes to new heights. Written and directed by Vivek Athreya, the movie is slated for release on 29 August.
At a packed trailer launch event at the Sudarshan Theatre 35MM in Hyderabad, Nani took the stage with his Saripodhaa Sanivaaram co-stars SJ Suryah and Priyanka Arul Mohan.
The trailer, unveiled to an enthusiastic audience, sparked lively responses on social media. It is trending at the No. 1 position on YouTube by garnering over 11 million digital views.
With the filmmakers keeping details of the intriguingly titled project under wraps, each update is fuelling curiosity. The film also stars Sai Kumar, Aditi Balan, Abhirami, Murali Sharma, Subhalekha Sudhakar, Ajay Ghosh, and Harshavardhan in important roles.
Picture a vigilante who targets a villain, none other than SJ Suryah’s character—Inspector Daya, and only unleashes his fury on Saturdays. Now, imagine the intensity when Saripodhaa Sanivaaram hits screens later this month!
The Saripodhaa Sanivaaram trailer sets the scene in Sokulapalem, a town terrorised by the ruthless new inspector, Daya (SJ Suryah). Enter Surya (Nani), the unpredictable hero described as a mix of calm and storm, willing to do whatever it takes to deliver justice once he’s decided.
The trailer is driven by a high-energy background score perfectly complements its intensity.

Recently, the makers of Saripodhaa Sanivaaram released a behind-the-scenes video showcasing the massive fictional town of Sokulapalem, built for the film.
Produced by DVV Danayya of DVV Entertainments and presented by D Parvathi, the film marks the second collaboration between actor Nani and director Vivek Athreya after their 2022 hit, Ante Sundaraniki.
Saripodhaa Sanivaaram boasts a talented crew, including music by Jakes Bejoy, cinematography by Murali G, editing by Karthika Srinivas, action choreography by Ram-Laxman and Real Satish, and art direction by GM Shekhar.
The film reunites Nani and Priyanka Mohan, who previously collaborated on her Telugu debut, Nani’s Gang Leader (2019).
