Sandeep Reddy Vanga and Prabhas’ collaboration Spirit is all set to go on the floors by this year’s end.
Speaking in an interview about this film, and other productions, T Series head Bhushan Kumar confirmed that the Prabhas starrer will start shooting by December end, and the film might be ready for release by mid-2026.
On the other hand, Sandeep Reddy Vanga gained prominence with his controversial hit film Animal starring Ranbir Kapoor. In fact, the makers of Animal, are also set to make its sequel, which is titled Animal Park.
However, the producer confirmed that work on Animal Park will start only after Spirit.
According to the director, the storyline of Spirit revolves around a police officer and how he would react when someone close to him faces adversity. Prabhas will portray the role of an upright police officer in the film.
As regards budget, the Animal director disclosed that the producers allocated a staggering ₹300 crore for bankrolling Spirit.
He estimated that the star power of Prabhas alone would contribute ₹150 crore to the box-office earnings of Spirit.

After scoring a massive hit with Kalki 2898 AD, Prabhas is now busy shooting for the horror comedy Raaja Saab in Hyderabad.
Apart from Spirit Prabhas will also join the shoot of Salaar 2. Recently the Kannada production house Hombale Films has signed a three-film deal with Prabhas.
Prabhas, who has previously collaborated with Hombale Films for Salaar: Part 1: Ceasefire, will now work on three more films starting with Salaar 2: Shouranyaanga Parvam directed by Prashanth Neel, which is expected to hit the screens in 2026.
The production house further announced that the other two unannounced films will be set for 2027 and 2028.
