Leaked video from Allu Arjun's Pushpa The Rule stirs tension

Director Sukumar’s Pushpa: The Rule, starring Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, and Fahadh Faasil in the lead, is set for a December release. A video claiming to be from the climax shoot of Pushpa: The Rule has recently surfaced on social media.

The video, posted on X with the caption, “Allu Arjun climax scene. I wasn’t supposed to take this, but oh well”, shows an extra being lifted by ropes. Without any appearance from the lead actors, it’s unclear if the footage is from Sukumar’s film.

Displeased fans are urging those sharing the video from Pushpa: The Rule to remove it, with some calling on Mythri Movie Makers to intervene.

One comment asks, “Why leak the video?”, while another simply says, “Bro, delete it.”

A netizen added, “Mythri Movies is very upset, and people are losing their jobs. Please delete it.”

Pushpa: The Rule, with its massive fan base, is one of the year’s most anticipated films. Recent rumours about possible crew changes and a release date delay have caused concern, but the film’s team assures that progress remains steady.

Reports suggest that editor Antony Ruben exited Pushpa 2 due to scheduling conflicts, with Naveen Nooli potentially stepping in. Despite reassurances that this won’t delay the release, fans remain apprehensive.

In the April teaser, Allu Arjun’s Pushpa Raj is dressed in a blue pattu saree, body paint, jhumkas, necklaces, bangles, a nose pin, and ghungroos, as part of his Mathangi vesham for the Gangamma Thalli jatara in Tirupati.

Reports indicate the makers of Pushpa: The Rule spent ₹60 crore on a six-minute scene.

In January, OTTplay reported that Amazon Prime Video acquired the OTT rights for the first Pushpa film for ₹30 crore, while the makers asked Netflix India for three times that amount for the sequel. Sukumar is expected to receive a stake from the OTT deal.

Earlier this year, Netflix announced Pushpa: The Rule as part of their lineup. News18 reports the digital rights were sold for ₹100 crore, though the film’s team hasn’t confirmed this yet.

Pushpa 2 will be released in Telugu, other South Indian languages, and Hindi.
