Deepika Padukone joins Atlee and Allu Arjun’s ‘AA22 x A6’

Actor Deepika Padukone has come onboard Atlee and Allu Arjun’s magnum opus AA22 X A6. 

On Saturday, 7 June, the makers have announced the news along with a short teaser.

They wrote on X: “The Queen marches to conquer! Welcome onboard Deepika Padukone #TheFacesOfAA22xA6. A Magnum Opus from Sun Picture.”

In the video, Deepika initially seen hearing the narration from Atlee, and then is seen wearing a unique costume and filming in a studio under Atlee’s direction. Deepika is also seen riding a horse with a sword.

In the pre-production video released as teaser while announcing the project, VFX experts praised the script’s creativity, and a brief tease hints at fictional creatures in the film. The announcement ended with Allu Arjun, wearing a VFX cap, roaring into the camera. The teaser also had the tagline, “When mass meets magic.”

Deepika Padukone had previously worked with Atlee in the film Jawaan, where she appeared in an extended cameo.

The actor was last seen in the film Kalki 2898 AD opposite Prabhas. Earlier the actor was in news, for reportedly stepping out of Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s film with Prabhas titled Spirit, due to differences with the director.

Atlee scored a massive hit recently in Hindi with Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawaan, and Tamil films like Mersal, Theri, and Bigil are a few of his hits.

Meanwhile, Allu Arjun is also set to collaborate with Trivikram Srinivas for a mythological film. He also has Pushpa 3 in the pipeline.

Allu Arjun’s last film, Pushpa 2: The Rule, was a huge hit, collecting over a ₹1,000 crore.
