Balakrishna’s next titled ‘Daaku Maharaaj’ to release on 12 January 2025

Telugu actor Balakrishna’s next film which was being referred to as NBK109 now has a title, teaser and release date.

The Bobby Kolli directorial is now titled Daaku Maharaaj and is targeting the Sankranthi season, hitting the big screens on 12 January 2025.

The film stars Bobby Deol in the role of an antagonist, and Urvashi Rautela and Chandini Chaudary play key roles.

The film is produced by Naga Vamsi under Sithara Entertainments and Sai Soujanya of Fortune Four Cinema. It has music by S Thaman.

The teaser introduces Balakrishna as someone who is neither a god nor evil, but a king without his kingdom.

Then the audience is given a glimpse of the actor, as he introduces himself as Daaku Maharaaj. Balakrishna is seen riding a horse, implying that the film will be an action entertainer.

Sharing the update, the director wrote on X: “Witness the 𝑮𝑶𝑫 𝑶𝑭 𝑴𝑨𝑺𝑺𝑬𝑺 like never before!! Presenting the one and only #NandamuriBalakrishna Garu as #DaakuMaharaaj. Brace yourselves for the ultimate power-packed experience on Jan 12, 2025, in Cinemas Worldwide.”

Apart from Daaku Maharaaj, the actor is once again collaborating with Boyapati Srinu, for Akhanda 2- Thaandavam.

Produced by Raam Achanta and Gopi Achanta under the 14 Reels Plus banner, Akhanda 2 will be presented by Nandamuri Tejeswini.

The music for this movie also will be given by Thaman.  Filming will commence soon, and further details will also be announced soon.

Balakrishna was last seen in Bhagavant Kesari (2023) under the direction of Anil Ravipudi. In the film, he played the guardian forSreeleela’s Vijji. The movie, released for Dasara, received mixed reviews and was a commercial hit.
