December is off to a scintillating start with Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s pan-Indian flick Animal.
The film starring Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna has created havoc at the box office with record collections following his craze across India with Kabir Singh (2019).
As Animal arrived in cinemas after prolonged anticipation, the initial responses to the movie were overwhelmingly positive in all languages.
Impressively, many screens in Delhi-NCR and Mumbai, Hyderabad, and Bengaluru are witnessing full-house audiences on its opening day.
With Animal already amassing over ₹20 crore through advance bookings, it sets the stage for a remarkable start at the box office.

Calling Sahasra is another flick that was released on 1 December.
A suspense thriller, the film is directed by Arun Vikkirala. It features Sudigali Sudheer, Dollysha, Spandana Palli, Siva Balaji, and Shalu Chourasiya.
The storyline revolves around a cyber security expert, who encounters unusual incidents after purchasing a new SIM card.
Additionally, the movie sheds light on various crimes against women in the city.

Atharva is a crime investigation drama releasing on 1 December.
Though the film is made with relatively new faces and with a small budget, the story succeeded in holding the attention of audiences with a pacy second half and twists.
Atharva is directed by Mahesh Reddy. Karthik Raju, Ayraa, and Simran Chowdary play the lead roles in it. The film also stars Kabir Duhan Singh.
The plot follows Karna, a resident of Warangal city who aspires to become a police officer but faces obstacles due to asthma.
Atharva explores the narrative of a young employee in the Clues team showcasing his ability to solve criminal cases though there are no apparent clues.

Natural Star Nani’s father-daughter story Hi Nanna is expected to do the magic when it arrives in theatres on 7 December.
Hi Nanna is a romantic family drama film.
The movie is written and directed by Shouryuv.
It stars Nani and Mrunal Thakur in the lead roles. The other cast includes Jayaram, Shruti Haasan, and Kiara Khanna.
The music is composed by Hesham Abdul Wahab.

The upcoming Telugu movie Extra: Ordinary Man is reasonably generating good buzz among Telugu audiences.
Directed by Vakkantham Vamsi, the film will be released on 8 December.
Starring Nithiin and Sreeleela as the lead couple, the film also features Rao Ramesh, Sampath, Pavithra Lokesh, Rao Raj. and Dr Rajasekhar.
The action entertainer has music by Harris Jayaraj.
It is produced by Sudhakar Reddy and jointly backed by Sresth Movies LLP and Ruchira Entertainments.

The Telugu-Hindi bilingual action drama Operation Valentine featuring Varun Tej is scheduled for release in theatres on 8 December.
Shakti Pratap Singh Hada directs the film, which features Varun Tej and Manushi Chhillar.
The movie is said to be inspired by true events.
