Telugu march releases

It’s March, and a host of much-anticipated movies are set to enthrall the audience this month.

From Natural Star Nani to upcoming hero Naga Shourya to comedian-turned-hero Priyadarshi, all are testing their luck at the box office. Scroll down to know the watchlist for the month.

Organic Mama Hybrid Alludu

Senior director SV Krishna Reddy, who is known for dishing out clean family entertainers, is making a comeback after eight years with Organic Mama Hybrid Alludu.

Starring Big Boss winner Sohail and Mrinalini Ravi in lead roles, the movie is expected to be an out-and-out wholesome entertainer. Senior actors Rajendraprasad and Meena are also playing key roles in this movie.

SV Krishna Reddy, who has a special place in the hearts of Telugu movie lovers, is confident of treating the audience to pure entertainment in his inimitable style.

The film is releasing in theatres on 3 March.

Balagam

The surprise package for March is Balagam, a small-budget movie backed by Dil Raju. It marks the debut of comedian Venu as a director.

What’s more surprising is Venu choosing Priyadarshi as the hero for his debut movie, instead of going after successful heroes.

Balagam is a story based in Telangana and heavily banks on the state’s dialect and culture. Its trailers and songs have already created a positive buzz.

The film also marks the debut of Dil Raju’s daughter Harshitha Reddy as a producer. It will hit the theatres on 3 March.

Phalana Abbayi Phalana Ammayi

Actor-director Srinivas Avasarala is coming up with his directorial venture Phalana Abbayi Phalana Ammayi on 17 March.

Known for offering humorous films, Avasarala has teamed up with Naga Shourya in this rom-com. Interestingly, this is the third time that the two actors are coming together.

Earlier, Srinivas Avasarala had directed Naga Shourya in Oohalu Gusa Gusalade and Jyo Achyutananda.

Movie buffs are expecting that the duo would deliver one more enjoyable rom-com.

Malavika Nair will be seen as Shourya’s love interest in Phalana Abbayi Phalana Ammayi.

Dasara

The best pick of all the movies releasing this month is Natural Star Nani’s Dasara. The actor is appearing in an extremely rugged and mass role in this action entertainer.

The teasers and songs released have been successful in upping the excitement.

Nani is romancing Keerthi Suresh in Dasara which is set in the backdrop of Singareni coal mines. Srikant Odela is making his debut as a director with this movie.

It has been a long time since Nani scored a solid hit. His last two flicks did not give him satisfactory results. Therefore, he has pinned all his hopes on Dasara, which is releasing on 30 March.

Meanwhile, Aadi Sai Kumar’s suspense thriller CSI Sanatan will also hit the screens on 10 March.

Further, depending upon the availability of theatres, Vishwak Sen’s Das ki Dhamki and Karthikeya’s Bedurulanka are expected to release in March.
